The State of Oregon’s Department of Environmental Quality is responsible for monitoring and regulating all public waters in Oregon. One way they do this is by testing water quality for pollution parameters such as pH, Dissolved Oxygen and Temperature. If water samples are over a certain threshold, DEQ is required to list that water body as impaired.  To view the list of impaired waters of Oregon, click on the link below to view the interactive map. You can select each water body to find out it's status and what pollution parameters have been selected.
