Bruce Anderson and his wife have called Keizer home since they were married in 1990. Bruce is Native Oregonian and received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Oregon State University.

Bruce’s professional background includes work in key positions at the Oregon State Capitol and several years’ experience in governmental affairs and association management.

He currently serves as NW Natural’s North Willamette Valley Regional Community Affairs Manager. In that capacity, Bruce has involved the company in many key Keizer events including Iris Festival, Keizer Public Works Open Houses, RiverFair, the Big Toy Build, the annual Keizer CERT sale, the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, Keizer Chamber events, and McNary Blue Day.

Bruce serves on several boards of directors including the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce, SEDCOR, and the Boys & Girls Club of Salem, Marion and Polk Counties.  Since 2008, Bruce has been a member of the Rotary Club of Salem, serving on and chairing various committees.

Bruce is a member of the Keizer Chamber of Commerce and is a past Secretary of its Board. During his seven year tenure on the Keizer Planning Commission (five years as chair), top projects the commission tackled included passing Keizer’s first Infill Development Code and the proposal for Keizer Station. Bruce also was a Keizer Volunteer of the Quarter in 2005.

Bruce and his wife reside in the Clearlake area and have four children all of whom have either attended or still attend Salem-Keizer Schools.
