REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR

STREET SWEEPING SERVICES

The City of Keizer is requesting proposals for a 3-year contract for street sweeping services.  The City has approximately 205 curb miles along with 35 miles of non-curbed bike paths and center turn lanes to be swept.  Leaf and debris pickup is an integral part of this contract.  The successful contractor will sweep each designated street 12 times per year beginning after 8:00 a.m. and ending before 6:00 p.m. except River Road, Chemawa Road, Cherry Avenue, Lockhaven Drive, Keizer Station Blvd, Wheatland Road and Dearborn NE, which will be swept 24 times per year. Additional sweeping may be done at the request of the City of Keizer on an hourly or curb mile basis.

You may also call Bill Lawyer, Public Works Director, at 503-390-3700 to ask that a copy of the request for proposal be mailed to you.  A map identifying the streets to be swept is also available from the Public Works Director for your review.

Proposals must be delivered to Tammie Harms, Legal Assistant, City of Keizer, 930 Chemawa Road NE, PO Box 21000, Keizer, Oregon 97307-1000 and must be received by 2:00 p.m., May 22, 2025.
