9:00am - 3:00pm Earth Day Activities & Booths
Visit with community partners like the Willamette Riverkeeper, Oregon State Parks, Oregon State Marine Board, Marion SWCD, Marion County Environmental Services, the City of Salem, Claggett Creek Watershed Council and Salem Kayak Rentals. Learn about their programs and participate in fun, waste-free activities!
10:00am - 12:00pm Litter Clean Up with Willamette River Keeper (Register Here)
For those who would like to remain on land, join us for a land-based litter clean up around Keizer Rapids. Last year we filled an entire dumpster full of trash! Please register ahead of time so we can bring the proper amount of equipment. Trash bags, non-latex gloves and trash pickers will be provided.

Claggett Creek Watershed Council will be hosting their annual Soggy Day in the Park featuring Earth Day booths, hands-on activities, food, and fun!

Earth Day Virtually Guided Hike through Keizer Rapids Forest is open all week long!
Stick around after the cleanup for a self-guided virtual tour of Keizer Rapids Park. The tour will take you on a 1/2 mile loop with 15 checkpoints along the way where you'll learn more about natural features within the park. This virtual tour begins at the Keizer Rapids Park Boat Launch and is a 0.5 mile loop with 15 checkpoints along the way. Using your smartphone, scan the QR code to pull up the virtual tour webpage and scroll to each checkpoint as you walk. You can listen to the audio or read the description to learn more about each natural feature of the park.
